Job Duties
•Assist in planning and coordinating special events, guest speaker tours, concert tours and fundraising programs
•Assist in organizing and implementing community fundraising programs
•Help identify prospect corporate sponsors
•Work closely with volunteers
•Complete and maintain official records, including financial details, in an accurate and timely manner
•Assist in negotiating contracts with facilities and hotels
•Plan and lead meetings with staff and volunteers
•Coordinate event budgets
•Coordinate with other events staff from across the country
•Facilitate services for events, such as accommodation and transportation for participants, catering, signage, displays, etc.
•Other duties as required
Qualifications
•High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred
•Excellent oral and written communications skills
•Strong attention to detail
•Excellent time-management, networking and multi-tasking skills
•Experience in formulating and managing multiple event budgets
•Project management experience preferred
•Strong people skills with the ability to motivate others
•Able to manage others in a fast-paced and demanding environment
•Proficient in MS Office Suite
•Strong sense of ownership over projects and tasks, and be able to identify new opportunities
•Bilingual candidates a plus
•Must be eligible to work in the United States
