Islamic Relief USA is seeking an In-Kind Donations Manager who will be responsible for all in-kind donations.  This position will report directly to the CEO.

Responsibilities
•Conduct assessment to identify potential beneficiaries of in-kind goods and focus on securing in-kind donations for countries where the needs are most dire
•Maintain, establish and actively cultivate relationships with potential and existing in-kind donors, U.S. Government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and relevant parties in the field to maximize and ensure the continued flow of in-kind donations to beneficiaries with the direst need
•Minimize costs for shipments of in-kind donations by obtaining grants to cover such costs when possible
•Utilize U.S. and foreign government contacts to minimize import and export restrictions and ensure that  each in-kind shipment is processed with reasonable speed and ensure prompt delivery to beneficiaries
•Ensure full compliance with relevant state and federal laws and regulations
•Maintain an accurate recordkeeping and tracking system
•Ensure the timely receipt of reports and pictures from Islamic Relief field offices
•Prepare and submit reports to donors and Islamic Relief departments
•Evaluate and offer new suggestions for in-kind policy and strategy as needed
•Respond to interdepartmental and external requests regarding donations and policies in a timely manner
•Stay informed about security and political developments and humanitarian needs in designated countries
•Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree; Master’s Degree preferred
•A minimum of seven to ten years of related work experience
•Demonstrated project management skills required
•Excellent command of English. Knowledge of additional language(s) is an asset
•Possess excellent communication and organizational skills
•Demonstrated ability to work independently
•Excel at multitasking and problem-solving
•Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
•Effective interpersonal skills to work effectively with partners, field offices, and staff
•Familiarity of world geography a plus
•Must have a strong sense of ownership over projects and tasks, be able to identify new opportunities, and have the initiative to pursue them
•Commitment to Islamic Relief’s humanitarian work of helping the world’s poorest people
•Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
•Must be authorized to work in the United States
