PURPOSE/SUMMARY- ISF Publications (ICP): The Sales and Marketing Individual will work to promote and sell of the Islamic and Arabic Curriculums, reaching all the Islamic Schools and Centers and soliciting orders from them as well as collecting the payments for such order, and making sure the Items are shipped to Islamic Organizations upon their request in a timely manner.
PURPOSE/SUMMARY- Muslim Yellow Pages (MYP): The Sales and Marketing Individual will work to promote and sell new adds in the Muslim Yellow Pages issue, and on our MYP website, reaching out to new customers and Organizations and soliciting their adds, and make sure adds forms are signed, and adds are designed and approved by the customers prior to sending them for final print, as well as collecting the payments for such orders, and maintaining all internal records on the quick book files.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Accountable for achieving the Organization’s goals as determined by ISF.
· Promoting ISF books, and the MYP to New customers in the local, and National communities around the USA.
· Take orders over the phone or by emails and faxes, Process them without a delay.
· Follow-up with customers during pre- and post-sales efforts to ensure proper customer-company relationships.
· Attend conventions, conferences and special events and set up the booths for sale, with prior coordination, and approval of the ISF Executive Director.
· Develop and utilize sales presentation skills to sell via all available means.
· Become conversant in the creative selling programs offered by ISF to meet sales results
· Acquire, maintain and expand knowledge of ISF products, competitive landscape, and the market in order to meet the customers' needs.
· Act in a professional manner when representing ISF, and its entities.
· Complete and maintain sales paperwork and other records in an orderly fashion and submits in a timely and accurate manner.
· Perform other job related objectives and special assignments in partnership with the ISF Executive Director.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
To perform this job successfully, the applicant must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
* Marketing and Sales Degree preferable
* Sales, and Relevant work experience is very important
* Knowledgeable in Software Applications such as Windows, Microsoft, Internet and QuickBooks is a must!
* Proven track record of success, consistent over achievement of goals/quotas.
* Open to travelling weekends for setting up booths and tables in bazaars and exhibitions
*Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Strong verbal and written skills (English, and Arabic is a Plus)
* Organized, strong time management skills
* High-energy, excellent work ethic, both reliable and positive.
* Ability to lift and carry equipment over 45lbs is important
The Islamic Services Foundation (ISF) is a non-profit organization, which has been dedicated to serving the Muslim communities since its founding in 1989. Headquartered in Dallas, Texas the ISF is home to several community service projects.
Our Services:
The establishment of Brighter Horizons Academy (BHA) in 1989 was a monumental achievement for the ISF. BHA is now the largest College Prep academy in the south with a student population exceeding 600 students distributed on levels from Pre-k to 12th grade. It is our experience with this school that has served as the motivation for launching the Islamic Schoolbooks Project.
The Islamic schoolbooks Project launched in October 2002, is the brainchild of a group of dedicated educators and professionals at the Islamic Services foundation and Brighter Horizons Academy. It aims to provide Islamic schools and communities with state of the art Islamic studies and Arabic Language textbooks and materials for all school grades.
The Islamic Services Foundation offer other services to the Texas Muslim community including the Muslim Yellow pages, a directory of Islamic businesses and organizations throughout the Dallas Forth Worth area and Houston, Texas Islamic Court, a dispute resolution service between individuals, organizations, and businesses.
