JOB OPENING: PRINCIPAL'S POSITION AT FURQAAN ACADEMY
Furqaan Academy, a full-time Islamic school (Pre-K- 8th grade) and a full-time Hifz school in Bolingbrook, Illinois, is the subsidiary of Al-Furqaan Foundation, a tax exempt Dawah Organization located in Addison, Illinois.
Furqaan Academy aims to create and empower generations of students who are confident of their Muslim identity in America and are able to pursue and excel in any field of study with a strong grounding in Islamic knowledge. Therefore, we are seeking applications from qualified and experienced candidates for the Principal’s position to carry out the mission of Furqaan Academy to its maximum.
Desired Qualifications:
· Master’s Degree in Education/ Counseling
· A minimum of 3 years of Administrative Experience.
· A minimum of 3-5 years of Teaching Experience.
· Teaching Certification.
· Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills.
· Must demonstrate strong leadership skills.
· Knowledge of computer skills.
· Must be able to implement and promote Islamic values and principles in the learning environment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to,
· Day to day running of the school
· Maintaining good communication with parents, staff and the community.
· Focusing on achieving high educational standards and monitoring student progress.
· Coordination and management of staff.
· Developing and maintaining a positive and Islamic learning environment.
· Lead school marketing and enrollment efforts.
· Lead the Accreditation process.
